MARY GIVES THE MOST EFFECTIVE MASSAGE EVER!

I have had neck issues for years. I've tried acupuncture sessions and massage to address the pain and lack of mobility. Both have helped somewhat, but Mary has made a definite difference for me.

I had assumed that a massage that deeply manipulated the muscles would be most helpful, but Mary uses a combination of styles to address my issues. Initially, she seems to find focal points of tension and work on them fairly gently, until tension releases, but I don't think that this is exclusively a pressure point massage.

During my first visit, I was afraid that she didn't understand my problem. She wasn't working on the specific muscles that hurt, and she wasn't applying a lot of pressure to the spots she was addressing. But I felt an *incredible* improvement as soon as I left and got into the car. The massage increased my range of motion, and reduced the pain, as well. Before the massage, I couldn't move my head very quickly. When I left, movement was smoother and more natural. The improvement lasted for a few weeks.

I used a Groupon for my first visit to Mary. (In fact, I've used a Groupon for every massage I've ever had, for years!) But Mary's techniques make a noticeable, lasting difference. I've started seeing her without the Groupon, and that is saying a lot, for me!

Mary is a talented healer. I often see her in times of great need when I am looking for a miracle. On a recent visit to er office with lower back pain at a level 9 out of 10 on the pain scale and I walked out at 0-1 on that same scale. Having Mary on speed dial is a necessity-she always finds the time to help. She makes it a priority to listen to my symptoms and hones right into the source. I have been seeing Mary for more years than I could count and is the only one I trust to manage my pain!

Mary truly has a "healing gift", and after each session with her I feel rejuvenated, both in mind and body. She has a "sixth" sense and knows what to do each session, without my even telling her! I have fibromyalgia and spend 8 to 10 hours a day working at a computer. As a result, my neck, shoulders, and back were in constant pain for many years. My doctor prescribed muscle relaxers to reduce the pain. I went to many massage therapists who only provided minor, temporary relief.

Mary is my solution to the pain. Since I started seeing her a year ago, my pain has decreased greatly, the range of motion in my neck has increased, and my overall health has improved. I no longer need the muscle relaxers.

Mary always takes the time to thoroughly evaluate me at each appointment to provide the best massage therapy for my situation. I always leave my appointments with a sense of well being and relief from pain.

I'm so impressed with the work you do. You really are a healer! Over the last year and a half, I have learned that your many and varied techniques of body work are unique and powerful. When I came to you complaining of Restless Legs Syndrome, you were aware of what this condition is and you knew several techniques that provided significant relief. I'm always amazed at your ability to follow your instinct and know exactly what's needed. I've never worked with anyone else who has the kind of sensitivity to what's going on in a body that you have.

In addition to being such a talented therapist, you also have taken time to encourage me in my massage therapy studies, and you've always been helpful when it comes to answering questions about situations I've encountered in my clinical training.

Dear Mary,

I’d like to thank-you for introducing me to cranial sacral therapy and reiki. After having been in two car accidents over the last two years, and experiencing constant neck and back pain, I thought I’d exhausted all the possible therapies for gaining pain relief. As you know, I have undergone physical therapy over the course of the last two years with minimal relief. I’ve endured several tests at the hospital, including painful neurological testing, a cat scan, an MRI, as well as many trips to my regular doctor and I was still experiencing pain and numbness.

I most recently started trigger point injections at the pain center in Nashua , which has actually helped to relieve some of the pain. I didn’t know anything about cranial sacral therapy or Reiki, but I was willing to try anything.

After experiencing this type of physical healing over the past three months, I’m absolutely amazed at how much better I feel!! I now know that cranial sacral therapy and Reiki are gentle forms of healing with results that have greatly exceeded any of the treatments I’ve had in the past. Mary Harding-Smith has worked with me for 1 1/2 years to help resolve an on-going debilitating migraine/tension headache condition.
